The Silver City

Want to know where to find really good milkshakes?  You need, however, to be willing to travel a few kilometres – as they can be found in a café in the mining town of Broken Hill – located 1100 kilometres west of Sydney.  For one of the best milkshakes around, a visit to Bell’s Milk Bar is in order.  Broken Hill, of course, is much more than great milkshakes. It has a rich mining history, with its silver-lead-zinc deposits putting it on the map. Street names inBroken Hill include: Oxide, Cobalt, Bromide, Crystal, Silica, Silver and Zinc.
